Tecsystem Brasil: Another International Success Story
The story of Tecsystem Brasil, the Brazilian subsidiary of the Tecsystem Group, brings together passion, expertise and entrepreneurial vision. It begins in 2002, when William Truffa, Brazilian by birth but Milanese by adoption, joined Tecsystem Italia in the production department.
His journey was one of professional growth, first working in the ventilation department, then moving into electronics production as well. These eight formative years allowed him to gain solid technical experience in both production cycles – knowledge that would prove invaluable for the future.
The Call of Brazil: when Destiny comes knocking
In the meantime, William had left Tecsystem Italia and returned to Brazil, where the group had been operating since the late 1990s through various corporate structures.
It was 2014 when William, who happened to be in Pegna, bumped into Roberto Conca and his family, who were holidaying there. A seemingly chance encounter that changed everything: "I need you in Brazil," Conca told him, and William's path led him back to the Tecsystem family, officially rejoining in 2015 after a brief training period in Italy.
The Birth of Tecsystem Brasil
Tecsystem Brasil LTDA was officially established in January 2023 in Jaraguá do Sul, in southern Brazil – a strategically location, perfect for business. It's a highly industrialised area where the country's main transformer manufacturers are based. William immediately took on the role of General Manager.
The Team, Supplier Network and Production
Since its founding, TECSYSTEM Brasil has grown significantly, particularly with local production.
Suppliers were carefully selected together with Tecsystem's General Director, Cesare Campisi, and Sales Manager, Andrea Lorusso.
"Andrea has been absolutely crucial for me during these years of growth. He's often worked alongside me in managing commercial negotiations and guided me in mastering the Tecsystem method."
Local Production for a Demanding Market
The challenge of starting local production wasn't straightforward. "The Brazilian market," William explains, "whilst having the same type of European clients such as dry and oil transformer manufacturers, is more traditional in its approach."
The most sought-after models are standard control units (such as the T154, NT935 and NT538), which kicked off local production. The VRT 200, currently being updated in Italy, could soon enter local production given its popularity in the Brazilian market.
"Today we're well known and respected in Brazil, but my country is vast," the General Manager points out, thinking of their client based in the Amazon...
Meet Tecsystem Brasil at FIEE São Paulo
For the third consecutive edition, Tecsystem Brasil will be at FIEE São Paulo, Brazil's premier trade fair for the sector, held every two years.
Mark your calendars for 9-12 September, when at stand O40, Tecsystem control units and ventilation systems will be up and running – systems that have always captured visitors' interest.
